Last week Disney unveiled a bunny-shaped robot on roller skates, which is supposed to demonstrate the company’s efforts to create characters with an emotional connection.

Tony Dohi and Morgan Pope, the duo that created the backflipping Spider-Man robot, explained that familiar movement patterns from cartoons were added to the rabbit-shaped robot to make the robot’s performances more emotional.
