According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the iPhone’s virtual assistant Siri will be significantly improved in the spring of 2025 with the new Apple Intelligence AI system in iOS version 18.4.
The update may allow Siri to perform actions such as displaying an ID from your photo library.
Initial AI features such as ChatGPT integration, a new Siri interface and technical support are expected as early as this fall.
Apple’s future plans include, for example, AirPods with built-in cameras that enable advanced AI interaction, but those innovations may still be a few generations away.
