Google Meet AI automatically takes notes from the meeting

A new AI-powered “take notes for me” feature in Google Meet is coming soon to Google Workspace customers.

This tool automatically summarizes meeting discussions and creates a Google Doc with notes, which is then added to a calendar event and shared with the meeting organizer and participants who have enabled this feature.

It currently only supports spoken English and should be available to all users from September 10, 2024. While this feature can be useful, especially in terms of accessibility, there are concerns about the accuracy of AI-generated notes.
