Huawei´s new AI suggests better social media poses

Huawei is preparing to launch its Pura 90 series, introducing a new AI feature aimed at solving a common problem: how to pose in photos.

The AI Posture Recommendation tool analyzes the camera viewfinder and suggests poses in real time, showing outlines and simple instructions to help users position themselves more naturally. The feature works with both front and rear cameras and is optional.

Unlike Google’s Pixel Camera Coach – which focuses on improving photography skills — the Pura 90’s approach helps users become better photo subjects. With social media in mind, Huawei is betting this practical AI feature will appeal to everyday users.

The Pura 90 series will launch in China next week, with more details expected soon.
