Contrary to popular belief in the tech hub of Silicon Valley, training AI chatbots on larger datasets can worsen their tendency to copy societal biases and racist stereotypes.
Many tech companies have been operating on the premise that training AI on more data could help solve the ongoing problem of AIs copying human biases. But the study has found that artificial intelligence trained on ever-larger data sets can produce even more racist results.
