OpenAI now allows users to customize ChatGPT, the most popular artificial intelligence chatbot, based on their personal needs. At the moment, it is possible to create a unique chatbot GPT in the paid Enterprise version. The online store of custom GPT´s is also planned to open soon.
According to the company, no coding is required to create your own bot, and anyone can create one. People can also share their created GPTs with others.
GPTs can supposedly be used for a variety of tasks, both at work and in everyday life. Some examples the company provides include using GPTs to learn the rules of any board game, teach kids math or design stickers.
When it comes to privacy, OpenAI claims that users are in control of their own data. Conversations are said not to be shared with the creator of GPT, and if GPT has third-party APIs, you can choose what data is sent to the API. The company is also implementing a new review system aimed at preventing the sharing of harmful GPTs.
Later this month, OpenAI plans to launch a GPT store where people can search for the GPT they want. It contains verified creations and highlights the most useful GPTs. The company won’t reveal exactly when, but says that in the coming months, creators will be able to earn money based on how many people use their GPT.
You must be a ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise subscriber if you want to try the GPT instance now.
