Don’t you hate it when you join a YouTube live stream and have no idea what the live chat is talking about next to the stream? Google has found a solution to this by offering AI-generated summaries.
You no longer need to endlessly scroll through conversations. This feature uses artificial intelligence to analyze the live chat and gives you a summary of how the chat is going. You can then join the conversation with a little more context.
The live chat AI summaries feature will initially be available to a small percentage of viewers. It also only works for live streams in English and only for super active chats. Google also mentions that it is not supported in all countries and specific markets have not yet been specified.
