Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman thinks that after the expansion of Apple Intelligence to the virtual assistant Siri and the Vision Pro device, the first home hardware from the company will be an AI-powered desktop robot.
Gurman has been talking about Apple’s interest in robotics for some time. Back in April, he noted in another article that an “advanced desktop home device that uses robotics to move the screen” is coming. This report mentioned two different robot projects – a smart display and what sounds like a more mobile robot that would follow you around your home.
