Google is gradually replacing the digital assistant Google Assistant with its Gemini artificial intelligence, offering more options than before.
Previously, the Gemini smartphone’s lock screen could only perform basic tasks, such as showing timers or pausing music. Now you can also ask Gemini more complex questions, such as the weather report, directly on the lock screen without opening the phone.
This update will be rolled out in stages. Additionally, Google confirmed that Gemini can run two different apps simultaneously on one device. This option is available, for example, in Samsung’s new foldable smartphone Galaxy Fold 6.
