Elon Musk has filed another lawsuit against OpenAI, accusing founders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman of violating the company’s founding mission to benefit humanity.

A new lawsuit filed in Northern California alleges that Altman and Brockman manipulated Musk as a co-founder of OpenAI by making false assurances about safety and transparency.

Musk claims OpenAI violated federal racketeering laws and defrauded him about the company’s nonprofit structure. This followed a similar lawsuit that Musk withdrew in June. The lawsuit also claims that OpenAI’s agreement with Microsoft would void Microsoft’s rights to the technology once artificial intelligence (AGI) is achieved.
