Software engineer Sophia Tung’s YouTube channel broadcast live from the San Francisco parking lot where Waymo’s self-driving taxis drive during their breaks. Cars constantly signal to each other while parking and thus disturb the surrounding residents.
Waymo began using the lot at the end of July, and since then the parking lot has become a popular place to watch the autonomous car parking ballet, with constant signaling, of course.
Waymo is aware of the horn issue and is working to fix it.
