MIT researchers have developed a robot that can peel different fruits and vegetables using human dexterity.

Unlike simpler prototypes, this robot can already turn the product with one hand while peeling with the other hand. The robot learned these skills in a simulated environment where correct turns were rewarded and mistakes were punished.

This ability to handle delicate objects can be useful in manufacturing industries, for example.
