Shift Robotics has launched the new Moonwalkers Aero motorized shoes, which are lighter, quieter, and more efficient than the original version.
The Aero features six wheels instead of 10, a top speed of 7mph, and weighs 4.2 pounds per foot. Priced at $1,199, they offer a range of around seven miles and improved performance in hot environments.
The original Moonwalkers, priced at $1,049, are now considered a rugged option for uneven terrains, while the Aero is designed for smoother indoor surfaces. Both models support a mobile app for customizable acceleration profiles.
