Two 19-year-olds founded a company called Aaru that uses AI chatbots to predict election outcomes with impressive accuracy, bypassing traditional human surveys.
By creating AI agents based on census data and programming them to think like real voters, they forecasted election results within a few hundred votes in a New York primary. Their method allows for faster and cheaper polling, and Aaru claims this AI-based approach could soon replace traditional polling methods.
Despite skepticism from some researchers, Aaru is already working with Fortune 500 companies and political campaigns.
