Apple is working on expanding its Vision Pro technology into new products to recoup development costs. The company’s Vision Products Group is reportedly developing at least four new devices, including smart glasses and AirPods with built-in cameras, both expected by 2027.
The smart glasses won’t feature AR but will include a camera, speakers and mic, similar to Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Apple is also planning a cheaper Vision headset, priced around $2,000, launching in 2025 and a second-generation Vision Pro in 2026 with a more powerful chip.
