Universal Music Group (UMG) has partnered with Klay Vision to create an “ethical” AI music generation model called KLayMM, expected to launch soon. The collaboration aims to support artists by respecting copyright and likeness rights, providing new creative opportunities without competing with traditional music catalogs.
Klay Vision is building an ecosystem for AI-driven music experiences, emphasizing proper attribution. The project involves key industry figures, including ex-Sony president Thomas Hesse and former Google Deepmind researcher Björn Winckler.
