Amazon will launch its first UK drone deliveries in Darlington, pending approval from the Civil Aviation Authority. Once authorized, hiring will begin for operations at its fulfillment center. While no launch date was given, Amazon plans to engage with the community for feedback. Other companies, like Skysports and Zipline, already offer drone deliveries in the UK. Amazon previously tested its MK30 drone in Italy and operates drone deliveries in Arizona and Texas with FAA approval.
