For example, English essays written by Chinese people were identified by text analysis tools as having been created by artificial intelligence 61 percent of the time.

Some students in schools and universities use text-generating AI models such as OpenAI ChatGPT and GPT-4 to create essays that they submit as their work. Many tools have been created to stop this, but statistics show that they also have many shortcomings.
