Robot Daisy is working hard in Apple factory, as it helps the company take old iPhone models into pieces, so that these parts can later be used when making new iPhones.

Apple plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and recycling old iPhone models is very important to achieving this goal. Currently more than 2 billion iPhone models have been sold in the world and it is no longer possible to put them into the recycling process using only human labor. This is where robots come to the rescue.

Apple claims they can recycle 200 old iPhones per hour. Currently, new iPhone models are made from 20 percent recycled materials. The goal is to bring this percentage to one hundred.
