Getty Images has partnered with Nvidia to launch the Getty Images generative AI, a new tool that allows people to create images using Getty’s licensed stock of photos.

Getty Images generative AI is trained exclusively from a licensed photo bank, ensuring full copyright compensation to users. This means that anyone who uses the tool and commercially publishes the image will be protected by copyright laws.

According to the company, photos created with this tool are not included in the content catalogs of Getty Images and iStock. Getty pays creators when it uses their AI-generated image to train current and future versions of the model.
