According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, Apple will add exclusive generative AI functions to the iPhone 16 smartphone model that will be released next year. AI will be the main selling point of the new devices.
Gurman’s report doesn’t reveal details of Apple’s AI features, but it can be expected to be similar to what Google and Samsung do with the ability to generate text-to-images, summarize documents and translate content. Apple is also rumored to be using its LLM model to overhaul Siri.
It is rumored that the iPhone 16 series will not come with major hardware changes and Apple will try to make new artificial intelligence features the main selling points of its upcoming devices. It is expected that the Apple A18 chip will be launched with the iPhone 16 series in all four models.
The Pro devices are said to have a new capture button located on the right side near the power button. Other leaks point to a smaller Dynamic Island and a 5x optical zoom camera on the 16 Pro.
