According to The Information, OpenAI is working on a new web search engine that would be a direct competitor to the dominant Google corporation. The search engine is based in part on Microsoft’s Bing web application. At the moment, it is not yet known whether it will be a stand-alone product or part of the artificial branch of the Chat GPT application.
About a year ago, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella promised to make Google dance. Then Microsoft added Bing Copilot artificial intelligence tools to the search engine.
Microsoft is a major investor in OpenAI.
