Artificial intelligence-powered search engine Perplexity has updated its Pro Search feature to support “multi-level reasoning,” allowing it to merge multiple searches for precise results.
New capabilities include code completion and integration with Wolfram Alpha for math problems.
Unlike its competitors, Perplexity claims its AI can handle more complex queries when Pro Search is manually activated. Users get five free Pro searches every four hours, unlimited Pro searches cost $20 per month.
The Perplexity Pro Search update is effective as seen in tests, but currently works best with a US-based IP. This is due to recent controversies over unauthorized use of content and reliance on obscure sources.
