Perplexity has introduced a “Buy with Pro” feature, allowing US Pro subscribers to purchase products directly through its AI search engine with saved shipping and billing info. Purchases include free shipping. Non-Pro users can still access updated shopping features like product cards with images, prices and AI-generated summaries.
Additionally, Perplexity is launching “Snap to Shop,” an AI tool for identifying products via photos, initially for Pro users. The company is also rolling out a merchant program to provide sellers with search insights and boost product recommendations.
