Gemini Live can now handle complex tasks by voice

Google is expanding Gemini Live beyond simple conversations, allowing users to complete multi-step tasks through natural voice commands.

With Gemini Spark, users can describe unstructured ideas or plans out loud, and Gemini Live can turn them into organized tasks. For example, it can create a vegetarian meal plan and generate a grocery list in Google Docs.

Gemini Live can also provide a personalized Daily Brief using information from Gmail and Calendar, while new hands-free Gmail controls let users search, summarize, star, archive, or delete emails by voice. Personal Intelligence also allows Gemini to use context from conversations and connected Google apps.

Spark requires a Google AI Pro or higher subscription, while Daily Brief requires Google AI Plus or higher.
